A private place for family artwork.

Overview

ArtSprig is operated by Zheng Jiang and provides a private tool for parents and caregivers to preserve family artwork. This policy explains how the current ArtSprig iOS app handles information.

Information used on your device

When you choose to scan or import artwork, ArtSprig may access a camera image you capture in the app, a photo you explicitly choose with Apple's system photo picker, and the artwork details you enter, such as title, date, notes, tags, and family profile details.

Scanning, image enhancement, profiles, and artwork storage remain on your device. ArtSprig does not require an account.

Information we collect or share

ArtSprig does not transmit artwork, profile details, notes, tags, device identifiers, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or precise location to us or to an ArtSprig server. We do not sell, rent, or use family artwork to train AI models.

Optional ArtSprig Plus purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment information. ArtSprig uses StoreKit on the device to determine whether Plus features are available and does not receive your payment-card details.

The app uses Apple's system camera and photo picker only when you choose to scan or select artwork. ArtSprig does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

When you choose Save to Photos, ArtSprig requests permission only to add the selected artwork images, not to read other photos. These are separate copies of your saved digital artwork. Apple Photos may sync them through iCloud Photos according to your device settings. ArtSprig does not upload them to an ArtSprig server.

Your choices and deletion

You can delete an artwork from its detail screen. Deleting an artwork removes its saved scan and, if enabled, its locally stored original capture. You can remove a family profile in Settings; its artwork remains in the library as unsorted unless you delete it separately.

Removing the app from your device may remove the locally stored ArtSprig archive. Before removing the app, use the available share or export options for anything you wish to keep.

Deleting artwork from ArtSprig does not delete copies saved to Photos or shared elsewhere. Manage those copies separately in the destination app. Photo exports contain the selected image, not the full ArtSprig profile, notes, or editable archive.

Children's privacy

ArtSprig is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children to use independently. The current version does not transmit family artwork or child profile details to us. We do not knowingly request a child's email address, Apple Account, precise location, or advertising identifier.
